FALL IS THE SEASON....
TO ENTER THE PERENNIALLY POPULAR
REFLECTIONS
COMPETITION

The Reflections program is National PTA's largest program and is focused on encouraging students to engage in creative activities and use their imaginations to make artwork in various categories for the purpose of expressing the theme with a new piece of work. The 2017-2018 Reflections theme is "Within Reach".  Art categories include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts 2D.  Only original works of art from individual students are accepted.  Special Artists are also encouraged to enter.

Here is How The Contest Works:

  • Each PTSA launches a contest at the local school level.  Student entries are due at the Juanita HS Attendance Office by November 1.
  • All artwork is judged and winning entries advance to the District contest.
  • District entries are then judged in November and winners at the District level advance to the State competition in January.
  • State winners are then submitted to the National competition.

For more information, including the JHS student entry form and rules, click on the Reflections menu option on the left of this JHS PTSA web page. Posters and entry forms are also available at the Attendance Office and around the school.

We look forward to providing opportunities for talented Rebel artists to be heard and seen!
