Eastlake High School will be partnering with the LWSD, the LWSF, and The Center for Child Development, on Oct 25th for a Parent Education Event that will discuss on many levels, Teen Mental Health.  The focus will be on current trends and concerns, and how to recognize that your teen may require support.  There will be discussion on the development of a teens brain, and how it relates to our teens and their mental health.  Conversations about how to recognize red flags and warning signs will be discussed, as well as what just might be normal development.  We will be discussing support at the school levels and within the community.  We will have take-home resources for our families at the end, as well as an opportunity for a Q&A session with our panel of professionals.  This is a free event, and all District High Schools and middle schools are invited.
