The Juanita High School emergency preparedness committee supports JHS administration with emergency preparedness efforts and manages the school’s emergency supplies.  The JHS E-Prep committee chair also participates in district PTSA Council Emergency Preparedness Committee meetings to share information and coordinate with other schools in our learning community and across the district. The PTSA allocates money for Teacher Grants, which are meant to offer support to the staff in obtaining additional classroom supplies that might not be funded by the School or the District. These supplies could range from items like science classroom plants, reading chairs, books, or various miscellaneous materials. The Reflections Program is a National PTA cultural arts competition.
The purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works.

PTSA Waste Reduction Guide

Each year JHS PTSA looks for input from JHS staff, parents, students, and community. The PTSA seeks recommendations in identifying exceptional advocates and volunteers within our school community.
